Before you start this book clear your schedule. I learned the hard way and I started this book at the worst time because I had to prepare for my daughters birthday, her party, and get my garage all fixed up. For almost two weeks I had barely any time to read this and when I finally had the time and started it back up, I just could not put it down.
Carter and April took a piece of my heart. Reading about their stories; the good, the bad, the happy, and the sad; had me drawn in so fast. April being such an independent and strong woman who can fend for herself and knows that she doesn't need money to be happy made me see some of myself her in. Carter being country and such a strong, caring, passionate, and devoted person made my heart break reading all the sadness and heartbreak he suffered. Some of him reminded me of my husband in ways.
This book was an emotional roller coaster of a ride, and I sobbed like a baby, but it was worth every tear, smile, laugh, sigh, gasp, and stomach dropping feeling ever. If I could forget all about this book just to reread it again I would in a heartbeat.
If any book couple deserved a HEA, it is definitely Carter and April.
I also fell in love with their always changing nicknames for each other!
I can not wait to continue this series and read more about Carter when he was younger. I can not wait to get into Dahlia's head and hear her story.

April has a month deadline on her novel and this is her fourth extension. And she hadn't even started writing her novel. With 2 best-selling fantasy novels, you would think she wouldn't have a problem getting started. But her brain has been blank since losing Travis.

When her best friend Saunders calls and tells her that one of her clients had to cancel their reservation for a two bedroom luxury cabin in the mountains because his wife got sick she thought it was the perfect opportunity for April to get away and reset. A month in the mountains away from any distractions. Maybe that will give her inspiration. So she packs up her computer and cat and hits the road.

Carter is furious. He is a country music superstar and he had been talked him into having a fake romance with Savannah an up-and-coming movie star. After two years he is finally away from the manipulative toxic woman and she is spreading rumors and lies everywhere.

He has had enough and tells his assistant that he is not doing any interviews. She cleared his calendar and told him to visit his family in the mountains and take a break. Carter grabs his guitar and heads for the mountains to work on his next album.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. I couldn't put this book down!

April and Carter are perfect. He does everything he can to push April's buttons. She is a foot shorter than him, but she stands her ground not being afraid of him. And she has no clue that he is a world famous singer.

This book is action packaged from page one and full of steamy hot chemistry. I love all the relationships with the secondary characters and the storyline kept me on the edge of my seat. I laughed and I cried. This is the first time I have read anything by Emmanuelle Snow and I can't wait to read the rest of this series!

New to me author I LOVED THIS BOOK. April and Carter’s story was spicy with fierce emotions. All the feels with strong characters. Two broken souls heal each other and find their HEA. You will know this couples soul by the time the author is finished.

Emmanuel Snow writes an intoxicating story about a famous country singer and a writer. This is a slow burn story with two main characters who are not looking for love, but find it when they are least expecting it.

Carter and April meet when they are both staying at separate cabins in the woods trying to get away from everything. They both have different reasons for wanting to get away, but when they meet, they seem to forget everything else.

I love reading stories about country stars, so I was excited to read this story. It is entertaining to watch Carter and April banter back and forth and fall in love. They have sizzling chemistry and I enjoyed all of their encounters.

I loved this book! It was a bit long, but every chapter was worth it in the end. I got to see all of April's and Carter's story from start to finish. I got to live each of their moments and really get to know them. The writing was great and the characters were easy to fall in love with. The storyline was interesting with lots of feels and sexy scenes. Carter was amazing. He was sweet, protective, and so sexy. I loved his character and the way he treated April. April was also an amazing character. She was strong, brave, and independent. I loved their relationship and their banter. The ending was absolutely perfect. I really enjoyed this book and enjoyed Emmanuelle's writing.
