All readers love gorgeous paperback to add to their bookshelves
I know it's been a while. I've been using all my time to heal in the last three months. Little health update: I'm doing better, but I'm still waiting to know what the next steps are. As it is, the two doctors in charge of my case don't agree and I need to see another doctor but it will be only in 2025. I can't wait to put that episode on my life behind me once and for all and I have no idea if I'll have to consult with doctors for the upcoming years or not since I can't get a clear diagnostic and they can't find the cause to that infection...
It's Christmas in just a few weeks and the Snow family is enjoying Christmas music and snow since in Calgary, it's been covering the ground and trees for quite a while now. Look at that gorgeous picture below.
We are doing some winter camping since we had to put our travel on pause and trying to getting adjusted living in the cold in a RV. We've (huh, rather Mr. Snow did) insulated the entire thing so it doesn't get too cold. So far so good. But let me tell you. With six people's shoes, boots, jackets, snow pants, mittens, hats, it gets messy pretty quickly. And since the kids spend more time inside, our little house on wheels feels a lot smaller right now. Not that it was big to begin with lol
In book news, I've started writing and reading again (YAY!). I can focus for longer periods of time on some days even though I'm not back being totally myself yet. At least I feel fully human once again, which is a big plus.
I'm postponingBroken Linkrelease for now.Following Amazon rules, I have to cancel my preorder and do a new one.If you have preordered the book already, your preorder will be canceled. You can preorder on any other retailers or on my website(which for some reason gets me even more excited when you guys do) in the meantime. I should have another preorder set on Amazon soon. I'll give you the link once it is set. I'm sorry for those of you who were waiting on the conclusion to Andy and Abby's story.

I'm telling you, I love this book so much (and so does my editor!). Each time it was being edited, it made me smile and cry all at once. ClickHEREfor your copy.

Have you ever heard about Kobo Plus? It's a book (+audiobook) subscription program similar to Kindle Unlimited but with a lot of pros you won't find anywhere.
First, the books on Kobo Plus are not limited to Kobo Plus like they are on Kindle Unlimited, which means authors and publishers are allowed to publish them elsewhere (other retailers, their websites, libraries, etc) too. This mean you will find books there you won't have access using your KU subscription.
Also, you can usually read books for free on your first month as an enrollment thank you, which is a fun way to learn how to navigate the platform and create the most amazing TBR list.
With a group of authors, a few times a years, we do a special Kobo Plus newsletter similar to the Stuff your Kindle event to highlight amazing reads for you to check out. Watch out for the next one coming in early 2025.
Right now,Cruel Destiny(Buddy is almost a main character in this story is such a huge part of Nick's journey) is part of the Books for Dog Loverspromotion. Check it out rightHERE
Last Hope, Riley and Devon's heartbreaking and beautiful love story, which includes a puppy, is also available on Kobo Plus if you wanna check it out. ClickHERE.
Downloading books bought from the author. How do I do this?
I've been asked how you can download ebooks on your favorite readers when you buy them on my website. There's a full tutorial on Bookfunnel on how to do this (by the way, it's the same thing as when you download bonus chapters). Once you order the book (or bundle of books), you receive a Bookfunnel link. You click on the download link and follow the instructions on the screen. I love to do this on my phone or ipad using the Bookfunnel app where I also keep the Kindle, Kobo, and Google Play apps too. It's super easy and take just a few seconds and voilà! You book will appear on your eReader.

Do you prefer books with a little, a lot, of no spice at all? Or do you prefer books with whatever amount of spice as long as the story is engaging?
I think I'm more of the latter category. Sure, I love the spice, but I don't want it to be at the expense of the storyline, the character development, and/or the plot.
We've all read one of these books where there is so much spice it gets overwhelming and you have to skip the many scenes to get to the heart of the story, right?
Since Valentine's Day is in just a few weeks, I've decided to do a little game with you!
I've written below theTOP 5 spicy scenes 🌶️from my books according to comments I've received from readers over the years. Let me know which one isTHE ONE. You know, the scene that gave you tingles when you read it.
I fell in love with the Pierce family while I was writing the Wrecked series. Mason and Melinda kept popping in my mind, and every time Melinda confided in Ava about her own teen years, their story took form in my mind and I couldn't let it go.
Mason is the king of the football team at Elk River High, Michigan. Melinda is the star of the swim team, but they can't co-exist together even though they've known each other for years. What began as a childhood friendship, quickly turned into a frenemies kinda situation.
Now Seniors in Elk River High, they can't seem to escape the other's presence whatever they do, wherever they go. Sure, they share the same group of friends, and Melinda's best friend is dating Mason's brother, but denying the chemistry between them is not an easy feat. One night, as Mason comes to Melinda's rescue, they soon realize that maybe they don't hate each other as much as they thought...
Attraction will bring them together, but life-threatening secrets could push them apart...
Where did the time go? I missed most of August and September due to my health scare and now we're days ahead of October and I'm not sure I'm quite ready.
My kids are in full fall aesthetic mode, and I'm still locked to my bed or my couch most of the time. They made a super cool fall Bucket's list using paint and glitter (Mr. Snow wasn't happy about our bedroom being turned into a glittery palace, but he was the one who bought the art supplies so he knew what was in store, no?) From fall-themed diner to fall movie and a bunch of activities, the little Snows thought about everything. I'm just sad, my health doesn't allow us to travel or go on a hike like they planned.
And now they are talking about Halloween costumes and I can't find in me the energy to help them plan their outfits. They said they'll do it themselves, but I'm usually a huge Halloween fan and prep costumes weeks in advance. They did a fun pumpkin-head photoshoot last week and it was the cutest thing ever.
Do you have special fall traditions you like to partake in?
