📚Romance ebook haul in 3...2...1...!💖
I can smell spring! (Or I let myself believe I can!)
 
It's been freezing cold here in Calgary, AB for the last week, which made me decide I was ready for spring. Mr. Snow and the kids have been snowboarding in the rockies all winter, but since I can't join them for now, the cold season has been a bit lonely so far. Sure, I love having a day to myself once in a while (which had been a rare occurrence with the RV life), but I wish I could be more active. I'm ready to be more active. 
 
I'm having surgery next week, so I might be a bit MIA for the next few weeks, but I swear I'll come back as soon as I feel a bit better and the drugs have worn off. 
 
Last weekend, Mr. Snow surprised me with tickets to go see Sugar Sammy. Ever seen him in show? He just finished his US tour and is now touring Canada. We got tickets to see him as a Christmas gift about ten years ago, so it's been a while since the last time we saw one of his one-man shows. It was fun having a couple's night and to laugh. There were many LOL moments. 
 
In books news, Kickoff is ready (it's been for a while), and fingers crossed I'll be able to release it as planned on March 12. I was just giving it a read this week and I think you guys will really like it. For a moment, I had forgotten how funny and adorable Mason and Melinda were. And the chemistry between these two is just ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥.
 
Next-door neighbors, and ex-friends-to-enemies, then friends-to-lovers, there's a little "Touch her and d!e" scene at the beginning of their epic and heartbreaking love story that sets the tone to the book. The paperback will include pretty formatted interiors with double-page pictures, and chapter headers (see example below). And some amazing (and funny) chapter titles. As for Heart Song paperback, the Kickoff paperback will include bonus material that won't be in the ebook version. 
 
Believe me, you won't get enough of them. Their story is just captivating and full of feelings.
 
I received some of my rainbow-spine paperbacks for the Carter Hills Band universe last week. I can't wait to show you all these pretty spines next to one another. The new versions also include book rank in the series on the spine. I'll add a picture below, but it's missing Whiskey Melody book 4 and the entire Carter Hills Band series. Would you believe if I tell you they're even prettier in person?!!

How much do you like your spice in romance books?
Do you prefer books with a little, a lot, of no spice at all? Or do you prefer books with whatever amount of spice as long as the story is engaging?
 
I think I'm more of the latter category. Sure, I love the spice, but I don't want it to be at the expense of the storyline, the character development, and/or the plot. 
We've all read one of these books where there is so much spice it gets overwhelming and you have to skip the many scenes to get to the heart of the story, right?
 
Since Valentine's Day is in just a few weeks, I've decided to do a little game with you!
